Description
UNIDO provides technical assistance to developing countries for establishing and operating ""Subcontracting and Partnership Exchanges"" (SPXs). The objective of the UNIDO programme is to reinforce the capacity of SMEs to increase their production and employment, to upgrade their manufacturing processes and products, to improve their productivity and international competitiveness, to encourage import substitution and to promote the export of manufactured products from the SME sector.
