Mesopartner is holding its 6th International Summer Academy on Local Economic Development in Duisburg, Germany, from 26-30 July 2010. The event is aimed at experienced practitioners in the field of local and regional economic development. Applicants should register before 11 June 2010. The fourth ValueLinks introductory training seminar, based on the value chain promotion methodology devised by GTZ, will take place from 6-10 September. It will be held in Germany, at Oestrich-Winkel near Frankfurt. Further details can be found here The July 2010 newsletter is available for download below, and gives details of many other VL events.
Action for Enterprise is holding a training course on the theme of 'Value Chain Program Design: Promoting Market-Based Solutions for MSMEs'. The course will take place on 13-17 September 2010, in Chiang Mai, Thailand. For further details, see the AFE website.
Hans Posthumus Consultancy is offering a training course on results measurement, including the DCED Standard on results measurement. Details can be found on Hans's website.
