ILO Turin announces the 2010 edition of their distance learning course on "Enterprise Development through Value Chains and Business Service Markets: A Market Development Approach to Pro Poor Growth". The flyer can be downloaded below, and more information can be found on the the Market Dev website. The course will include a learning activity on the DCED measurement standard. Distance learning starts on 15 March 2010. The deadline for applications is 22 February 2010.
Hans Posthumus and associates are offering courses on Value Chain Design for Impact, including the DCED Standard on results measurement, 2-4 February 2010 and 22-24 June 2010. For more information, download the brochure, below, or visit Hans' website.
Action for Enterprise is holding two training courses on the theme of 'Value Chain Program Design: Promoting Market-Based Solutions for MSMEs'. The first is February 24-26 2010, in Washington D.C. The second is September 13-17 2010, in Chiang Mai, Thailand. For further details, see the AFE website.
The Springfield Centre for Business in Development is offering a programme on the market development approach to enterprise competitiveness, 'Making Markets Work for Enterprise in Africa', 7-12 March 2010 in Mombasa, Kenya.
