Hans Posthumus Consultancy offers a training course on Results Measurement for Sustainable Private Sector Development in Bangkok, Thailand, 5-9 March 2012. The course is based on the DCED Standard and intended for donor agency staff, project managers, M&E specialists, and consultants.
The ILO offers a distance learning course on "Value Chains and Business Service Markets: A Market Development approach to Pro-Poor Growth". The course, developed by the ITC ILO and Mary McVay, is targeted at professionals developing and implementing value chain and enterprise development projects in rural and urban areas. The course starts on 19 March 2012 and includes a face-to-face workshop, 18 -29 July 2012 .
The Coady International Institute runs three-week certificate programmes on livelihoods and sustainable market development approaches for the poor, 4-15 June 2012. More information and application forms can be found here.
IDC organises an ValueLinks Introductory Training Seminar, Oestrich-Winkel, Germany, June 11-15, 2012. The seminar gives participants an introduction into the concept and methodology of ValueLinks, the value chain promotion approach developed by GIZ. The training seminar is intended to serve consultants, planners and practitioners working in development agencies, consulting firms, business associations or Government agencies active in economic development.
