On 14 February 2007, IFAD organised three Round Tables as part of its Governing Council meetings in Rome. One of those Round Tables focused on the topic of Value Chain Development and Rural Employment.
A Background Paper was prepared for the meeting by Hans Posthumus, and is now being finalised in the light of the discussions; the draft used for the meeting is meanwhile posted below, together with the presentation he made at the start of the discussions.
Also below are presentations made about IFAD-supported work in Macedonia, Colombia and East Africa.
