Description
The first of two regional workshops on M4P, one in Asia and one in Africa, this 1-day seminar sponsored by DFID and SDC was held in Bangkok 26 November 2008. Over 40 attendees from a range of donor organisations, projects, NGOs and governments participated in presentations, discussions and networking during the one-day seminar (which for some participants turned into more of a three-day seminar due to the Bangkok airport blockades). Participants included representatives from AusAID, ADB, DFID, GTZ, SDC, Katalyst and Prosperity.

Key outputs from the workshop include a revised M4P network concept and preliminary ideas for supporting M4P knowledge management, and these will be topics of discussion at the next workshop in Africa. A strong set of presentations were delivered by the Springfield Centre, Katalyst, M4P2 Vietnam, GTZ Thailand and AusAID, which are all available for download here along with the programme for the event.

The second workshop was held in Nairobi in February 2009.
